As an initiator, Fade has a complete kit to help you rank even higher. In this article, we will share tips on how to play a good Fade like a professional player. Here is the summary.

Fade is an Agent who relies on his ability to gather information. He has Prowler (C), Haunt (E), Seize (Q), and  Nightfall (X) to find the opponent’s position. If we take advantage of these skills, we can win round after round easily. Unlike Sova or Cypher, who use technology as their main strength, Fade’s skills come from black magic.

Haunt (E)

Fade throws an orb which, when it hits the ground, will tell the enemy’s position in his line of sight and give a mark for a few seconds. Unlike Seize, this skill can be destroyed before doing a location reveal.

Prowler (C)

When activated, Fade will issue a creature similar to the Selena Mobile Legends catfish and can be controlled like Skye’s Blinding Light. Enemies hit by the Prowler will experience nearsightedness. The Prowler can automatically chase enemies when an enemy is marked.

Seize (Q)

The Fade throws an orb that will bind enemies around it when it hits the ground. Enemies caught will be loud and decay. As long as binding the enemy, this skill cannot be destroyed.

Nightfall (X)

In short, this skill is similar to Breach’s Rolling Thunder, but the difference is that all enemies affected by this skill will not hear anything AT ALL, marked by a mark and decayed.

5 Tips Using Fade Valorant Easily

At first glance, the skills look like Reyna’s, but this Fade has a high enough capability to carry out its duties as an initiator; here are tips you can use well.

1. Do not rush to use skills

The first thing to pay attention to when using this Agent or any Agent is taking your time using skills if you don’t need them. Fade’s skill though very scary, but easy to avoid or destroy. Using it at the right time will have a more significant impact than throwing it away at the start of the round.

2. Study the lineups

If you want to master this one Agent, then you have to be willing to invest time to learn the various Fade skill lineups in every available map. For example, where should the Haunt (E) be kept to scan for maximum, or in which direction should the Prowler (C ) be released to clear the desired angle? If this lineup is successfully mastered, it will be difficult for your opponent to stop you.

3. Improve basic skills

After understanding how skills work and studying the lineup, if you want to play Fade like the pros, you must also improve basic skills in Valorant, such as aiming, map awareness and communication.

You can practice in applications like KovaaK or AimLab to sharpen your aim. Positioning the crosshair towards your opponent’s head takes time and patience. Warming up before playing is also very important to sharpen our aim.

By warming up our hands and eyes, we can be more alert when we meet an opponent compared to not warming up at all. Warming up can be done by playing on the Practice Range, using apps (AimLab & Kovaak), or playing some deathmatch/spike rushes.

4. Play aggressive

One of the tips for using Fade in Valorant is to play aggressively so you can initiate further. Because this skill from Fade is efficient for attacking, you need to master it further.

Apart from that, Fade himself is very suitable to be used as an entry-fragger for one of the roles in Valorant, where you can trigger your opponent’s core skills up to their ultimate.

5. Communication is key

The final tip for playing Fade like a pro is improving team communication. Good communication lets you know when to use skills and convey strategies to enter the site. With good communication, you can also know your opponent’s condition without seeing them by simply asking your teammates. Make sure you communicate in the best way and avoid toxic behavior.
