There are two types of Crossbow in BGMI, the basic Crossbow and the Tactical Crossbow, which can only be found on the map of Nusa. The Crossbow is a one-shot weapon, and its single bolt or arrow is enough to knock an enemy with a level 3 helmet.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has various types of weapons, such as Assault Rifles (ARs), Submachine Guns (SMGs), Sniper Rifles, Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR), Crossbows and Melee weapons. All the weapons in BGMI have pros and cons, and in this article, we will discuss the Crossbow.
What is The Best Loadout for Crossbow in BGMI?
Sometimes, players in BGMI want to have fun and try adventurous ways to secure finishes. The Crossbow in BGMI is one of the game’s few unique weapons. There are two types of Crossbow in BGMI: the basic Crossbow and the Tactical Crossbow. The Tactical Crossbow is a map-specific weapon and can only be found on the map of Nusa. It fires standard bolts along with bolts that have fire.
Here are some of the attachments for the Crossbow:
- Foregrip: Quiver.
- Scope: 4x Scope.
- Tactical Attachment: Tactical Gunpowder Tool.
The Crossbow doesn’t require too many attachments. However, the attachments given above will help players maintain stability and accuracy while firing bolts. The Quiver Foregrip is the most important as it reduces the reload time and also increases the fire rate of the Crossbow. The 4x Scope is the best sight or scope attachment for the Crossbow.
The Tactical Gunpowder Tool is recommended to be used with the Tactical Crossbow. This tool turns essential bolts into explosives, and enemies can be knocked down or finished with a single shot.Â
These are some of the stats of the Crossbow in BGMI:
- Rate of Fire: 0.075s.
- Range: 30.
- Magazine Size: 1.
- Recoil: 27.
- Reload Speed: 2.5 seconds.
- Ammo: Bolt.
- Firing Mode: Single.
- Damage: 105.
The Crossbow is a single-shot weapon. Its single bolt or arrow is enough to knock an enemy with a level 3 helmet. The weapon is not meant to be used in competitive scenarios as it has a lot of disadvantages, one of them being its magazine size, which can only hold one bolt, which needs to be reloaded after every shot. The Crossbow requires a lot of skill, and beginners may find it challenging to use.

How to effectively use a crossbow in BGMI
Using a crossbow in BGMIÂ is quite a daunting task, requiring a lot of practice. The weapon has a unique reticle with markings for 50, 100, and 200-meter targets.
Crossbow suffers a substantial bolt drop, so the players must compensate by aiming a little higher to hit the enemy. The 1-2 marking on the reticle can be used to hit a target within the range of 100 meters quite comfortably. Meanwhile, the third and fourth markings can shoot the enemies within the 150-meter range.
The bullet velocity of a crossbow is almost five times less than that of Kar98k, so players have to keep that in mind while shooting a moving target. There is a mission in the fourth week of Royale Pass where a player must pick up the Crossbow in five matches in classic mode. It will award the players with 50 RP points.
Players can play solo vs squad on any map in classic mode to complete the event quickly. They can then drop to a location that offers good loot and find a crossbow. The progress would be taken into consideration only after the match ends.
