Mobile Legends Best Assassin Heroes For The 22nd Season

Assassin is a class of heroes in Mobile Legends that specializes in eliminating and disabling targets. Assassins can intercept foes as they are trying to heal. An opportunistic hunter, assassins focused on infiltration, mobility, and deception, using strategic positioning to kill enemies. Mobile Legends’ best hero from previous seasons often belongs to this class.

Assassins are divided into subcategories depending on their hybridity with other roles. Pure Assassins, as the name suggests, do not have skills from other roles. Both Primary and Secondary Assassins are hybrid classes; Primary Assassins are Assassins with side skills of other roles, while the other way around is called Secondary Assassins.

Entering its 22nd season, the community of the popular MOBA presents a tier list of their existing roster. We have rounded up some of the Mobile Legends best hero candidates for you to play and dominate the match.

1. Benedetta

Benedetta Mobile Legends

Introduced to the game in November 2020, Benedetta is a Pure Assassin Mobile Legends hero given to players for free on her release. She has more well-rounded stats compared to other characters on this list. Benedetta specialized in blink skills, and currently, the only character with all their skills is considered blink.

In terms of equipment build, Nino from Alter Ego managed to dominate the match and contributed to his team’s victory against ONIC during MPL Season 8. His build in the match consisted of Bloodlust Axe, Immortality, Brute Force Breastplate, Athena Shield, War Axe, and Malefic Roar. He used Warrior Boots to increase early game survivability and later traded it for better offensive gear.

This particular build grants a 20% cooldown reduction from Bloodlust Axe + War Axe combo, enabling the player to access Benedetta’s Ultimate Skill faster. Athena Shield and Immortality increases her defense, while Brute Force Breastplate stacks even more defense in the late game.

Benedetta is strong in early- to mid-game, but her late-game potential is overshadowed by late-game characters like Claude. He started relatively weak but gradually getting stronger as the game dragged on. Benedetta’s blink (except her passive skill) can also be blocked by Minsitthar’s Ultimate Skill.

2. Selena

Selena Mobile Legends

Selena is an Assassin/Mage hybrid that deals Magic Damage as opposed to regular Assassin’s Physical Damage. Compared to other Mobile Legends heroes in this list, she possesses the highest Difficulty, making her unsuitable for newer players. She is also the lowest base Physical Damage of the bunch, as expected from a Mage that relies on Magical Damage.

To maximize Selena’s potential, we recommend players build Selena using this equipment set: Demon Shoes, Clock of Destiny, Lightning Truncheon, Calamity Reaper, Holy Crystal, and Necklace of Durance. This build maximizes her damage output and mana reservoir while reducing her skills’ cooldown time.

This equipment set provides a total of +365 magic power and a 25% cooldown reduction. Selena’s Mana demand would be supplied by the obtained +1000 mana and +12 mana regen alongside 10% mana regen from Demon Shoes’ passive. This build also gives additional damage through Calamity Reaper’s and Lightning Truncheon’s passives.

However, although Selena has gained quite a reputation as one of the best heroes in Mobile Legend in the current meta, she’s among the hardest heroes to use. She’s also unsuitable for team fights and is vulnerable to burst attacks. Her high mana consumption could cause a problem if not properly managed.

3. Saber

Saber Mobile Legends

Another pure Assassin, Saber is a master swordsman specialized in dealing massive physical damage to enemies. He is relatively easy to use, able to achieve high damage output and can knock an enemy airborne using his Ultimate Skill, making him suitable for newbie players.

Our recommended equipment build is Raptor Machete, Magic Shoes, Endless Battle, Blade of Heptaseas, Blade of Despair, and Immortality. This build will grant you a total of +276 physical attacks, +30 physical penetration, +40 and 10% more movement speed, and +50% damage to monsters.

The trade-off from Saber’s enormous damage is his relatively weak survivability. His skills also mostly focused on single target killing, making him vulnerable in a team fight.

4. Lancelot

Lancelot Mobile Legends

Possessing the highest offensive capabilities in this list, Lancelot’s base physical attack is second only to Benedetta. Lancelot’s play style relies on stacking damage bonus from charge attacks for a set period of time. He also does not require specific strategies to maximize his potential, making him a newbie-friendly Mobile Legends best hero.

Equipment suitable for Lancelot is Magic Shoes, Endless Battle, Blade of Heptaseas, Blade of Despair, Queen’s Wings, and Immortality. Your Lancelot would obtain +310 physical damage as well as 30% cooldown reduction, +10% and additional 40 movement speed, and +2300 HP.

Lancelot’s high damage does not necessarily mean he does not have a few cons. Because of his reliance on charge attack, which is considered a blink move, Lancelot’s domination can be stopped by Minsitthar’s Ultimate skill. He also relies quite heavily on Red Buff and Purple Buff in the early game, which requires a Retribution spell to obtain said buffs.

All four of the aforementioned Assassins, each with their own strengths and flaws, are among the top characters for players to use. Even with their flaws, each of these characters has the potential to become Mobile Legends Best Hero 2021. Top up your Diamonds in UniPin and add these heroes to your roster!
