Baizhu in Genshin Impact: The Ultimate Builds, Artifacts, Team Compositions, and Tips

The most OP Healer with the best cinematic, Baizhu in Genshin Impact can make you step bound. Cause this character is amazingly good in attack or defense. You can combine the skills for the rescue.

For other tips on Genshin Impact, you can read these articles starting from builds, artifacts, combinations, tips, and team composition. Because this character to hard for the beginner.

Baizhu’s Gameplay and Skills

Baizhu’s role as a healer revolves around his Elemental Skill and Burst abilities. When activating the Elemental Skill, Baizhu launches a Dendro attack toward an enemy, with the attack bouncing up to two times. Upon hitting the third enemy, the attack returns to Baizhu or the active character, restoring the team’s HP. The amount healed is calculated based on Baizhu’s HP, regardless of the number of enemies hit or the attack’s damage.

His Elemental Burst creates a shield that protects the active character, continuously updated every 2.5 seconds. If the protection breaks due to enemy attacks or is replaced by a new security, two effects occur: the team member receives a heal, and the Burst launches a Dendro attack.

In addition to his healing and defensive abilities, Baizhu provides a buff to Dendro reactions triggered by his team members, such as Quicken, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, Burning, and Bloom.

Baizhu’s Role and Limitations

While Baizhu offers various benefits like healing, shielding, buffing, and off-field Dendro attacks, his primary role is a healer. However, it’s important to note that the shield he generates is relatively weak and serves more as interruption resistance rather than complete protection against attacks, distinguishing him from pure shielders like Zhongli.

One limitation is that Baizhu’s Dendro application is primarily single-target, making him less suitable as the sole Dendro enabler in teams reliant on Dendro reactions like Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon. He can’t replace characters like Nahida or Dendro Traveler in this role.

Baizhu’s Talent Priority

To optimize Baizhu’s performance, prioritize leveling up his Elemental Burst first, followed by the Elemental Skill.

Artifact Recommendations

Since Baizhu is commonly used in Dendro reaction-based teams, the ideal Artifact set is the 4-piece Deepwood Memories, which significantly boosts the team’s Dendro attacks.

If other team members already use this Artifact, alternatives like the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige, 4-piece The Instructor, or 4-piece Ocean-Hued Clam can be considered based on the team composition and enemy type.

As an alternative approach, combining the 2-piece Tenacity of the Millelith, Vourukasha’s Glow, or Emblem of Severed Fate can provide the HP% or ER% stats needed for Baizhu.

Prioritizing Energy Recharge (ER%) is crucial due to Baizhu’s high energy cost, followed by maximizing HP%.

Weapon Recommendations

Given Baizhu’s role as an HP-based healer, the best weapon choice is Jadefall’s Splendor, which enhances healing and energy regeneration. Alternatively, the crafting weapon Prototype Amber is a strong option, particularly if refined.

Other suitable options include Hakushin Ring for teams with Electro characters, Favonius Codex to meet energy needs, Everlasting Moonglow for increased Healing Bonus%, and Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayer for versatility.

Team Compositions

Baizhu significantly impacts Cyno’s team, as his defensive and Dendro off-field abilities combine roles previously fulfilled by Nahida and Zhongli. This allows for better damage optimization for Cyno’s team.

Baizhu also benefits Electro characters that use the Aggravate reaction, such as Keqing and Yae Miko. Additionally, Fischl and Kazuha can be excellent team members.

Baizhu can be included in a Spread team with characters like Tighnari, Alhaitham, and Kaveh, alongside an Electro character (Fischl, Yae Miko, or Beidou) to trigger reactions.

With Baizhu’s healing abilities, he fits well in a Nilou team, although other Dendro enablers like Nahida or Dendro Traveler may still be required due to Dendro’s limited aura.

Baizhu’s arrival in Genshin Impact brings the game a powerful healing and support character. By understanding his gameplay mechanics, utilizing the right artifacts and weapons, and creating synergistic team compositions, players can unlock Baizhu’s full potential and enhance their overall gameplay experience.
